We're a Team of Sport Medicine Clinicians who are experts in treating and managing sports injuries.

Our clinicians look beyond the pain site to find the source of your injury.

We look at movement patterns and weakness or instability in your body to see what contributed to your injury.

We’ll take you through a functional movement assessment to systematically assess your movement and to make sure that once you get out of pain, you stay out of pain.

We will create a customized treatment plan for you that involves a blend of advanced manual therapy and progressive functional rehabilitation.

Our mission is to help you get healthy and stay healthy.

Common Causes of Sports Injuries

Injuries can begin acutely (a single incident) or chronically (building up over time).

Both types of injuries include damage to the soft tissue: muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves and cartilage.

Soft Tissue Mobilization addresses injury to these soft tissues while chiropractic manipulation re-aligns the joints.

Our team has mastered modern soft tissue therapies such as Active Release Technique, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Cupping, Myofascial Release, and Rocktape.

Chronic conditions are usually caused by an underlying movement dysfunction.

Our Functional Rehabilitation program will accurately target the cause of the injury (immobility/inflexibility, weakness, or unresolved previous injuries).

We understand that your life and your training does not stop when you are hurt, our multidisciplinary approach will get you back to training fast.

We are experts in Crossfit injuries and understand the demands of this multi-faceted sport.

You won’t hear us say, "Just don’t squat!" Or "You need to quit CrossFit."

Instead, we will help you build the proper motor skills and mobility needed in order to perform the best you can.

We want you to leave your gym feeling worked but not wounded, coordinating with you and your coach to modify your workouts while you heal.

Once we’ve retrained your movement patterns, we can get you back to work out as soon as possible, stronger and more resilient than ever!

For your first appointment, let us know who your coach is and we can sync with them to keep you healthy!

Multi-Sport Injuries

multi1

As a multi-sport athlete, the demands placed on your body are different in each discipline: swim, bike, and run.

Working hard in these constant repetitive motions often leads to muscular imbalances and repetitive strain injuries; things like ITB syndrome, plantar fasciitis, achillies tendonitis and rotator cuff injuries are common in this sport.

The Head 2 Toe team has an extensive understanding of the biomechanics of running, cycling and swimming

We also understand that to have healthy joints you have to have a strong foundation to support them.  We will look closely at your “pillars” your core, hips and shoulder blades.

Successful treatments should not only focus on pain relief, but must also address the underlying causes...

Such as muscular imbalances, biomechanical dysfunction, poor sporting techniques and improper conditioning.

We look forward to helping you become a healthier athlete and a stronger competitor.

Whether you are a junior athlete, a weekend warrior, a seasoned veteran or just starting out, we can assist you in learning how to stabilize your core and gain power.

Our amazing team of clinicians will approach your injury with the full force of our combined knowledge.

We love seeing our patients graduate with strong resilient bodies and the tools to keep themselves healthy
